QuickRider Urban road-use e-bikes are supplied in the documented EN 15194 configuration for each model. Certification applies only to the exact model and its original, unmodified configuration.
What EN 15194 Means
✓ Maximum continuous rated motor output: 250W
✓ Pedal assistance: above 6 km/h, assistance is provided only while pedalling
✓ Assistance cut-off: motor assistance stops at 25 km/h
✓ Walk assist or throttle: if fitted, assistance without pedalling stops at 6 km/h
✓ Safety testing: EN 15194 covers construction, braking, motor performance, electrical systems, batteries, chargers and controls
Do Not Modify or Unlock the Bike
Changing the controller, speed limit, motor output or throttle operation may make the e-bike illegal to use on public roads and paths. Modifications may also affect warranty and insurance coverage.
Road Use in NSW
Road rules and permitted riding locations can change. Riders are responsible for keeping the bike in its certified configuration and complying with current NSW road rules, signs and helmet requirements.
